How to get Cydia on my iPhone 2g?
I just jailbroke my iPhone 2g and I didn't get Cydia. I tried using OpenAppMarket, but none of the Cydia downloads worked. Can someone please help me?
1. Tap the "Cydia" icon on your iPhone's home screen.
2. Tap "Upgrade Essential" when the pop-up window appears. You'll only see this window if Cydia is in need of an upgrade.
3. Choose "Confirm" on the next screen and allow the Cydia upgrades to install.
4. Tap "Close Window" when the Cydia upgrades are finished installing.
5. Press the "Home" button to exit Cydia and then open the application once more.
- What will happen to apps installed via cydia if I will delete cydia? I jailbroken the iphone for the purpose of installing an app which is not available in appstore. Now I do not need cydia anymore, I can delete it by deleting its packages. But what will happen to the app that is installed using cydia if I will remove cydia?
- Should I get cydia on my iPhone 4? Now… Or shall I wait till I get my next iPhone which is the iPhone 6 when it comes out. Are there any side effects? Is it safe for the phone? Can i delete it if I want to?
