How to get free gems in DragonVale?
Is there some way I can get free gems on DragonVale on my Iphone 4s, I don't have a jailbreak and I'm not stupid enough to give my password out to anyone or download any of the rubbish server scams, I was thinking a way to use Ifunbox or another apple device file editing tool to mess around with the config files or something alike, I just really need some, Is there any legit way to do it without a jailbreak?!

Without one no, however you can go on forums and many people will send you gems for free in exchange for you sending them gems.

1. Enter the daily stadium event contest. As long as you use a dragon with that element, you have a 99.9% chance to get at least 2 gems.
2. Enter the race and finish 1st and get a chance to win 1 or 2 gems. It's very unlikely but there's a chance.
3. Get 3 friends to give you gems everyday.
4. Don't have 3 friends? Then be your own friend. Just make 3 Game Center accounts and befriend the original account. Log in with each account and give gems to the main account. I think you might have to soft reset each account to give gems each day. Soft reset is just pushing the home button twice to bring up the current running apps. Tap and hold the icon until it shakes, then press the red minus button to close the app. Relaunch.
There are a number of ways to get free gems.
1. Hack the game with a mod, jailbreak, or file editor. I don't recommend this method, as it takes all the fun out of the game.
2. Enter your dragons in the Colosseum. As long as you enter a dragon that matches the element you will win at least silver, which nets you 2 gems. Gold medals win you 5 gems. You can do this once every 24 hours.
3. Breed gem dragons. A level 10 gem dragon creates one gem every 7 days. The gem habitat will hold 12 dragons, resulting in 12 gems a week!
4. Race of the track. Very rarely you will win 1 to 2 gems from it for a first place finish. Matching the racing dragon to the track *or* entering a special dragon like a gemstone dragon makes it fairly easy to win.
5. Receive gifts from friends. A friend can tap a button in game to gift you some free gems every day. The more friends you have that send you gifts, the more gems you will receive.

- Why does dragonvale need internet? Why does it need internet? Is there a wireless version? Or something i can do to have it wireless? Cus i gotta ride my bike to town about 2 km to get Wi-Fi for my iphone. I can't do it every day either and i'm getting half the progress i could get. Getting internet is out of the question. Anything i can do?

I liked the Facebook games, such as Backyard Monsters and stuff, and I'm very curious if there's any other games for the iPhone 4, that are like this.
