How to get internet from my laptop to my iphone 3gs?
I have got an iphone 3gs and i want to get internet on it. I have tried searching ways to do this but every where i have looked they have made it so complicated.please, tell me a simple quick way to do this! I have got the usb cable that connects my iphone to my laptop so you can tell me all the ways to do this.
I do not know of a straight forward way of accessing internet on iPhone through a internet connected laptop, via the USB cable.
What you can try is to convert your laptop into a Wi-Fi hotspot, then use this Wi-Fi to connect your iPhone to. The iPhone would then go to internet through this Wi-Fi (the laptop Wi-Fi hotspot) - http://www.techquark.com/2009/01/configure-laptop-as-wifi-router.html

- Why does my laptop get such bad internet download speed while my Iphone gets 10 times more? My router is downstairs connected to a Windows vista PC. That PC connected with an ethernet cable gets around 90-100Mbs download speed. I did another speed test on my iphone upstairs next to my laptop, and it got 80-90 Mbs. But When I did the speed test on my laptop, it was only 10Mbs down. It's really annoying because it takes like a billion years to open youtube and everything lags.

- Laptop gets slow internet connection, yet all my other devices get it at full speed? This never used to be an issue up until a few weeks ago, we had a 60MB connection that was buffed up to 100, my laptop used to download at around 5.5 - 6MB per second, whereas now its between 2 and 2.5, yet my iphone and all other computers in the house still get the full speed. I have checked the drivers which are all up to date, I can't discover the problem, what could be causing this? And how can I go about solving it?

I want all my stuff for my iPhone moved onto my new laptop but I don't know how. I synced my phone on my iTunes on my new laptop but the songs/apps/anything didn't go with it. How do I transfer? It gave me the option to do it but it said it would wipe it and I don't want that.
