How to get Internet on iPhone 4S? - 1

I'm swapping to an iPhone 4S and it won't be on contract. I'll be on t-mobile. But how do I get Internet on it? I know how to put Wi-Fi on but once you top your phone up it costs money to get like a months Internet, do I have to text or ring a number to activate it? Or does it take the money off once I top it up?

I'm guessing you are on a prepaid month-to-month plan with T-Mobile. In that case, you should look into your plan details to see if internet is included. I'm not familiar with T-Mobile, but almost every company is the same when it comes to prepaid. For the most part, you shouldn't have to activate anything but the line of service with them to get all of the features the phone and the plan offers.So, in short, look through your plan details first. It should be detailed in there. If you're still confused/unsure, you should just give T-Mobile a quick call to be sure. Hope that helps!

When i'm out and about I'm usually updating my twitter and Facebook account. But, when I'm put my phone down, 3G still says I'm using it and charging me.   • Why can't i get on the internet on my iphone 3gs? I just got it yesterday and it just says sorry no internet acces or it sits there and loads forever and i can't get on the app store. Frustraiting! I have bars and it says AT&T at the top of it like it should so why won't it work!
  • My Iphone is not letting me access the internet or internet based apps? I have an Iphone 5. Never had any issues but now it won't connect to the internet or any apps. It does the same thing it does when I have no service (just has that little circle symbol that means it's trying to get through). Orginally, I thought it must be a universal problem but everyone else has service and they are in the same location as me. Also I always use my phone here with no problems. I have tried turning it off and on again but nothing.
