How to get into iphone when the home button is broken?

My iphone button isn't working. How can I access my phone? I have to press the home button to get to the password to unlock my phone.

Normally, plugging your iPhone (iPod, iPad) into its charger will make it boot up.

There's a method to turn your phone OFF using accessibility settings (link), but that doesn't help with turning it ON. You may want to buy an inexpensive power bank to keep with you if you need to power the phone up while away from an electrical outlet.
