How to get iphone 4 out of recovery mode without restoring it? - 1

I connected my iphone to computer like normal and i was updating it on my iphone to iOS 7.0.4, it did that but my phone went off then had that bar thing when you looks like it was going to wipe it so i pressed the home and power button at same time but now it is in recovery mode and the only way of getting my phone back on is restoring it but i don't want to because it has everything on it and i don't think i back it up, Help ME Please IF YOU KNOW HOW TO GET IT WORKING Thanks

I think I messed up during the process, because it's stuck on the connect to iTunes screen.
