How to get music from my iphone to my mac book?

So I had to get my mac book wiped, i did back up everything on time machine but for some reason now i can's seem to find all my iTunes files. Thankfully, i have most the songs on my iPhone, but is it possible to move the songs on my iPhone onto my macs iTunes library?

For music you actually paid for legally (OK, stop laughing), open iTunes, log in to Store, select Purchases, and download again.

As to the TM backup, the default location for iTunes music is…
/Users/your home folder/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music
