How to get my so called friend to pay me back because she cracked my phone screen?
She was using my phone to call her parents, asking them if she could go out on Saturday with us. Her parents said no, so she got mad and THREW my phone down on the ground in frustration. It's an iPhone 6s by the way, and I only got it a few months ago for my birthday.
I pick it up and yell at her for cracking my screen. Her excuse is "Oh sorry. I was just angry because of my parents, y'know?"
How dare she? What can I do?
Why did you feel the need to ask this again?
If she refuses to pay it and its over 20 dollars, contact her parents. If her parents refuse to pay it, then either accept you won't get paid or sue.
Tell Mr. Razac
Small claims court.
Do not lose a friend over something like a broken cell phone. Let it go.
If she had to ask her parents to go out on Saturday, she must be a minor. Which means her parents are legally responsible for any damage she does.
Contact them directly.
You loaned the phone to her, so whatever happens, happens. If she gives you $ to have it fixed, she does. If not, you're on your own.
Meanwhile, she sounds like a complete idiot
You can get it fixed and then send her the bill for the repair.
Get it fixed and give her the bill. Or, small claims court? That may be too harsh, but it's an option.
- Why did she give me her number if she won't respond back to me? I met a really cute girl last night and started talking and she was like I'm about to leave take my number so we swapped number hugged and she left and was like text me. So today I text her and saw that the text I sent was read (we both have an iPhone) and she never responded. She seemed interested in me. So i don't know why she just read my text and didn't text me. Why did she give me her number if she didn't reply to my text?
- My teacher stole my phone! And my friend's She said she wanted an iPhone 11 and a Huawai Mate so she just took them? She collected them before we watched the movie saying she wanted no interruptions but she just stole them.
- My friend broke my phone and refuses to pay for it? What do i do? So we were hanging out and i had my iphone and i was texting my crush and he asked who she is and i said she is my friend and he grabbed the phone and said "(my name) has a crush on you" so i grabbed it back and said STOP and he laughed and grabbed it back and through it across the room and it cracked and i SCREAMED What the HECK and told him to STOP! And be stomped on it and smashed it more
- I'm asking for a friend. She was paying for her adult sons iPhone 7 Plus device on the sprint network and he got arrested for hitting her? And is no longer allowed in the house. Long story short the police managed to confiscate the iPhone and gave it to her before he was arrested. She now wants to give the phone to her other son, and doubts her arrested son will comply with giving her the passcode. Is there anyway sprint would erase the phone for her so it's like a brand new phone? Or is the son legally supposed to give her the passcode? Anything we can do or is the phone useless.
