How to get my unjailbroken iPhone 4 out of recovery mode?

My iphone 4 from att has never been jailbroken.last night i was trying to update it to iOS 6.0.1 and i haven't installed it yet. This morning i woke up and it told me to connect it to itunes.probably because i don't have any memory. It said it is in recovery mode and i have to restore it. I restored it once and it didn't do anything.while it was restoring it has the connect to itunes screen stuck on it and it still does. I tried getting out of recovery mode with red snow and holding those buttons for a certain amount of time.once it was working but my screen and the program froze on some weird thing.somebody please help! I don't have time to go to the apple store or anything! And i will not buy a new phone

Unjailbroken

Unplug your cable from your iPhone. Connect it to your PC, with iTunes open. Hold the home button, the little square at the bottom, and plug your cable back into your iPhone and keep holding the home button. A pop-up in iTunes should tell you that it needs to be restored. Try to restore it. If it doesn't work the first time, try it again, as it may take a couple of tries.
