How to get notes off a smashed and unusable iPhone 4?

This morning I dropped my iPhone 4 and completely shattered it, with half the screen breaking off. I've plugged it in to my computer and since then been able to get all my photos and videos off it, but I can't find a way to save all my notes off it. I have iOS 7.1.2.

I've tried downloading a program called iExplorer as it was the first solution suggested to me, but it couldn't get the notes for me.

Also, I'm an author and I had an app called 'The Journal' by Rhobota, LLC that had a good portion of my writing in it, which, I stupidly forgot to back up to my computer. If anyone knows any way to access that at all, that would be amazing.

  • Why exactly would my dad be upset at me that I broke his laptop after he smashed my iPhone and stepped on it? My dad took my iPhone and smashed it. So I pushed his laptop off the table and it broke. Now he is mad at me. How can he be when he destroyed my iPhone? Irony. Oh I do chores around the house and cook. He broke my phone because I had the speaker too loud when I was studying and watching a video for class
  • Why does my iPhone notes app.delete some notes? Some have been there for over a year others just disappear after a few days. I have not (to my knowledge) done anything differently.
  • Smashed my iphone and it went crazy? Ok so i threw my iphone 4s on the ground and it shattered on the front and back but it still turns on, but both cameras won't work and when i try to take a picture its just black, also the sound won't work and whenever i use it the front top right hand corner goes really hot, aswell as the whole steel edge thing and the back top middle if that makes sense. Does anyone know what's going on maybe? Please answer!
  • Smashed Iphone shows colors red and green when I try to turn it on? So Yesterday I was at the skatepark and I was going over a jump with my phone in my hand. I fell and my phone went flying and got all smashed up, even though I had a screen protector on. I had it connected to a bluetooth speaker playing music and the music was still playing, but when I tried to turn it on it would just flash red colors on the screen and some green colors. I don't know if I need to just replace the screen or if I need the whole phone repaired.
