How to get off Universal Orlando's No Rehire List?
Ok so back in 2007 I used to work for Universal and I was let go for something I didn't do. It had to be 1 of 2 things.
1.) The register was short 50 dollars that day and they accused me of saying it was my fault when I know it wasn't my fault. I double and triple count the money just so I can avoid mistakes like that. But what they forgot to address is that up to 8 employees use that same register so it could've been any of the other employees but that's one of the scenarios.
2.) Another day a customer lost his iPhone and instead of me turning it in to a manager I left it by the register when I was working that day. The reason I left it by the register that day was because I have had bad experiences with managers at Universal I found a item that belonged to a guest and I turned it to a manager and when the guest came looking for it the manager said he never seen it. So in other words I looked like a lier and a thief. I just want this situation fixed because I'm a honest hard worker and all I want is to work at the Wizarding World Of Harry Potter I'm a HUGE Harry Potter fan and that would make my dream come true. Does anyone have any advice?
Sometimes companies will have a set amount of time that someone is on the no rehire list, but I don't know what Universal Orlando's policy is on this. The only thing you can really do is either call them and ask, or just fill out an application and see what happens.
Chances are, you don't get off the "No Rehire" list, ever. There's a reason you ended up on it, and regardless, there's likely nothing you can do to change their minds. They believe what they believe.
With Scenario 2, you blatantly disregarded policy. If the policy is that you turn in found items to a manager, then you're supposed to turn it into a manager. If you don't trust that manager, well, that's too bad. Find a higher-up manager or supervisor and speak with him/her about the manager you distrust. But, in the mean time, you're supposed to follow policy. You broke the rules and you got fired. That's life.
Find another job and move on.
- Universal Orlando tickets on iPhone? Going to Universal soon, is there anyway I can order the tickets online and have access to them on my phone so I don't have to print them out? I can just show them a barcode or something to that extent on my phone?
- My contacts disappeared from my contact list on the iPhone 5s, randomly. How can I get them back? My contact list somehow erased when it was in my purse. The contacts are still there when I create a text message or search someone to text, but I can't dial out because the contacts from my contact list are gone. My iCloud is still on, so it's not that. Is there a way I can get them back?
- Is there a universal sim card? Iphone 5? Is there a sim card that will work on every and any phone? I just want to use it to activate my iphone so I can than use it as an ipod. I have the iPhone 5 and I can't use it all without activating it with a sim card first after that it doesn't need one tho. I'm stuck on the page that says pick language and stuff I can't go anywhere else without a sim card. Or can I buy pre paid one?
- Is there a universal code for pairing an Iphone 4 to a car stereo deck? I have a new Planet Audio deck, Model #P9734B / my husbands android phone paired without a hitch, but my Iphone 4 is asking for a code. When I paired the same phone to my Ford Focus, the car gave me a code for pairing. The Planet Audio does not do this. There's nothing in the manual either.
