How to get old notes to new iphone? - 1
I recently got a new iphone and there was something really important on my old phone in notes. Is there a way to get my old notes (that i didn't delete) to my new iphone?
If you used the same Apple ID on your old iPhone as your new iPhone, than the notes you had on your old iPhone should appear on your new iPhone in about a day.
Get them synced in iCloud and sign in with same iCloud on your new iPhone. They will sync automatically.
- Why does my iPhone notes app.delete some notes? Some have been there for over a year others just disappear after a few days. I have not (to my knowledge) done anything differently.
- My iPhone says that my Notes is taking up 1.79 GB of storage. I only have 3 notes, and there isn't a lot of text in them. How do I fix this? Recently there were a lot of notes on my phone, but I deleted most of them until there were only three notes left. However, my phone still says my Notes takes up 1.79 GB. I tried writing a really lengthy note to see if the GB would go higher, but it didn't change. I don't want to delete my three remaining notes, which have very little text in them. I doubt that these notes are taking up 1.79 GB. What is the problem here, and how do I fix it?
- Is there anyway to retrieve old notes from iCloud? I have iCloud turned on and i noticed that you have your notes from your iPhone saved onto your email on your mac. I thought that this meant the copy of the old notes was forever on the email no matter what changes you make to it.recently i deleted all my notes to make room for my phone but i realized that by doing that, it deleted the old copy of the notes off my email as well. Is there any way to get them back considering they used to be on my email before?
- I've been so fustrated with trying to get my old iCloud account off my old iPhone I forgot the password and recovery key to my iCloud account. I've called Apple and sent a receipt for proof of purchase, but they said it's invalid, because the SN doesn't match which doesn't make sense. Is there another way to just erase everything off the phone myself?
