How to get other iPhones on the same account to stop receiving my messages?
I just upgraded my iPhone to iOS6 and for some reason every time I get a text my dad gets the same text and every time I send a text he can see it and reaspond as me on his phone! If anyone could please help me stop this that would be great. -Thanks p.s. Urgent he has been texting my friends weird annoying things.
Maybe you and your dad are using the same apple id. It might be the imessage.
Both your dad and your iPhone is on the same Apple ID account. It will syn across all your devices on the same ID. You and your dad need to have your own Apple ID.
- Two iPhones using the same Apple ID account I recently got the iPhone 5S and everything is fine with that. Prior to that, I had the iPhone 4S. The 5S is activated with my cell provider and the 4S has been deactivated. I want to use the 4S sort of like an iPod Touch. I'm using the same Apple ID on both devices. Whatever I do on one, take pics, edit contacts, etc, it shows up on the other device. I was wondering if there's a way to use the same Apple ID but not have the changes transfer over to the other device?
- Is there any way I can transfer stuff I purchased from iTunes on one account, to a new/other account? Let's say I purchased 30 songs & 3 movies on an account with iTunes (let's call that account, account A) & now, 2 years later, I create a new account (account B) & now I want to keep my old stuff, the 30 songs & 3 movies, is there any possible way I can transfer my purchased items from account A to account B?
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
- Is it true that iPhones can only Bluetooth to other iPhones and no other device? I was thinking of buying either a iPhone 5 or Samsung Galaxy S4, but a friend of mine said that iPhones can only transfer files to other iPhones via Bluetooth, which sucks.
