I would try rubbing alcohol on a Qtip.
Brasso and a brillo pad.
Denatured alcohol and lens cleaning tissue. Isopropyll or rubbing alcohol does not have the cleaning power of denatured alcohol. If you don't have lens cleaning tissue (very cheap), you can use a cloth made for cleaning LCD screens. The idea is not to leave residue on the lens, which paper towels, Q-tips or cloth type leave.
