How to get people to move out of government housing?

I live near a government housing complex and I see people there using iphones and driving mercedes, when they live in a governemtn supported home. I do not think this is fair because they are taking up spots for people who are truly in need of housing.

Not a thing you can do and it is none of your business.

If you have names, you can report them for fraud… But it could just be their drug dealer visiting

And I was in line at Stripes paying for my gas and getting a couple of hot dogs to eat. The lady in front of me was very well dressed with expensive jewelry, her hair done and a very nice expensive clean car and she was getting gas on her Lone Star card… That's the food stamp card in Texas and they are giving her gas. I asked the attendant if he could give gas on that card and he said we often do. We really need to clean up who is getting what and people need to start turning these people in. I fell bad I didn't.

Trust me, the government gets abused more then you think, especially this government. BIllions are lost every year to this, but when you make it easy to get welfare, it becomes a giant money hole for the US There's a reason why this stuff is up over 100% in just the past several years.

Write a letter to the government and complain.

Realistically You don't. You have no control over what other people do. Nothing you personally can do.

The income limits for low income housing are surprisingly high in some jurisdictions, especially if you have a bunch of kids. On my property a family of 8 can make between $48,550 & $77,650/ yr depending on the program. More than I make working here. Point beging just because you see someone in low income housing with nice things does not absolutely mean they are committing welfare fraud. Not saying that there are not people that do indeed commit welfare fraud but there are more problems with the system than the people using it.
