How to get rid of nail file marks on my iPhone home button?

Oh i feeI your pain. If the marks are not deep you can use very fine grit sandpaper (grade 2000 or more) and then buff it out. Or you can try an old nail buffer, the smooth ones that make your nails really shiny. I've used the latter to buff plastic to a mirror shine so it does work.
- Is there an iPhone app to go to the home screen? My Home button isn't working well? IIm afraid my home button will completely stop working soon enough, and i don't currently have money to replace it. I really only need the home function, but it would be really nice if it also had a screenshot function (because screenshots need the home + lock combo) Edit: If it makes any difference, my phone is an iPhone 3GS (old, lol) and has iOS 6.1.6.

I got my iphone 5 a couple of days ago and I decided to sync my iphone with my computer to get songs today, before I finished my iphone's home button, apps, and power button completely stopped working, i can still move from page to page but I can't open anything, turn off anything or do anything whatsoever, I'm really concerned.
