How to get rid of other data on iPhone? - 2
Today I tried and failed to download a movie because I didn't have enough space. I delete some stuff, downloaded it again, then deleted it to free up space, but now my iTunes says it has 5.67gb of "other."
I tried restoring backup, but since I'd backed it up since I got all of that data it didn't help.
How do I get rid of the "other" data?
Go to settings then genral then storage then delete data or you could restart the whole phone

I know there are some apps to view the 'other' but i don't want to pay for them, is there any free apps similar to this without jailbreak or any other ways to get rid of it?

I know this is a tired question because no one can figure out how to truly remove the (5GB in my case) excess of "other" on the iPhone because it apparently might be due to corrupted files. I've tried everything I can find online to no avail. I really don't want to resolve to starting a new phone because I need my current photos, contacts and messages. Any suggestions?
