How to get rid of the Other on my iPhone?
The "Other" storage is HUGE, and it keeps growing! It's currently at 7.4GB, and I have no idea how to get rid of it. I've deleted all my messages, removed my email from my iPhone, cleared the events on my calendar, and it keeps getting larger.
If it helps, I only have 1.8GBs in music, 371.1MBs in video, 1.55GBs in photos, and 1.33GBs in Apps. And then there's the whopping 7.4GBs in Other. What the heck is it?
I've tried deleting most of my apps, and it helped a little, but not much.
I just got done restoring my iPhone, and nothing changed.
What should I do?
With my experience on apple products as well as experience repairing and fixing their their firmware issues it sounds to me like that is very much so processing issue meaning its internal i se it all the time the internals of your phone whether it be your logic board board or processing unit may be disrupted and most likely if you already done all the same things i would do to figure out the issue it may not be something you can fix you might be better off getting a new device or calling apple and seeing if they can help you. Hope this helps you out.

- I'm trying to get rid of Other on iPhone 5? I know this is a tired question because no one can figure out how to truly remove the (5GB in my case) excess of "other" on the iPhone because it apparently might be due to corrupted files. I've tried everything I can find online to no avail. I really don't want to resolve to starting a new phone because I need my current photos, contacts and messages. Any suggestions?
- How to get rid of the other category in my iPhone's usage The "other" section is currently taking up 7.5GB of my iPhone's capacity (so ridiculous)! I've tried everything: deleting contacts, deleting conversations, deleting apps, and even RESTORING MY IPHONE. But it still is taking up basically half of my usage! Please someone tell me how I can get rid of, or at least drastically reduce, the "other" section.
