How to get the emoji I want to stay on my Twitter name?

I have an iPhone 5 with the latest software upgrade. Everytime I try to save an emoji next to my Twitter name it disappears as soon as I hit save. The only one it will let me keep there's the red heart & I'm tired of it. I've done some searches and people keep saying that some emojis just won't work. I would accept that but I see the same emojis I try to use in other peoples' Twitter names. Its So frustrating!

They are right - some emoji characters are specific to the iPhone - if you try to send them to a service like Twitter, it has no idea what that symbol is. Sorry.

  • Why can't i use emoji's in my twitter name or bio? I have an iphone 4s (with the latest ios version) and i can pretty much use emoji's everywhere, except in my twitter name or bio! Other people use emoji's in their name, but when i try it stays for a second and then it won't show up. Any way to solve this?
  • When you change your twitter name does it sign you out from the iPhone app? My mom took away my ipod and computer and I changed my twitter name during so she doesn't read every one of my tweets (she probably saw a lot of them already). I know that when you change your username if signs you out of the computer, but does it sign you out of the iPhone/iPod app too? (I can't even delete the twitter app or sign out on my ipod because I don't know where she put it)
  • What's the other name for Sprint? Which other name or abbreviation is used? I want to know if Sprint is also called by another name. Because i want to have my Iphone 4s unlocked, but i can't see Sprint on the given options listed by the OS unlocking softwares
  • Twitter SMS & Twitter App Mobile Notifications? I have and Iphone 4, currently up to date, etc etc. When I turn on mobile notifications on twitter I receive both the SMS/404-04 text notification and a push notification from my twitter mobile app. I would prefer to receive the notifications from my app only and not SMS. It would be easier to distinguish tweet from normal texts. Plus The SMS notifications leave my texts list messy. I can't figure out how to do this anywhere. Solutions?
