How to get the new ios 7 update?
Some of my friends got the IOS 7 update. How can i get it on my iphone 5?
Its beta so I would wait for it.
You have to register with Apple as a developer. That is a beta version of IOS 7, so you never know what you might getting into.
You need to get your device's UDID registered on a site like http://www.instantudid.com/ for $5. That's how I got the beta on my 4S.
Download the ipsw for your phone model, connect phone to pc, let itunes detect it then press shift then click check for updates, then point to your downloaded ipsw. No need for developer udid.
On a mac that would be alt option + check for updates.

- What is iOS 7? A new iphone or a new software update? So is iOS 7 a new iPhone coming out or a new software coming up? And when is it coming out? And if its just a software update when is the next iPhone coming out?
- Update stopped during ios update own iphone now phones broke I connected my iPhone 4 to my computer (iTunes) and started doing the update through iTunes. About five minutes into the update iTunes in my computer stops working, causing the update to of course stop working. Now my phone will not turn on. On the screen it is black with the 'charge symbol' as if it were low on battery and an iTunes symbol. I have tried turning my phone off and on, but of course it didn't respond.

- Is the iOS 6.1 update on iPhone 3 safe to update? On my first iPhone there were problems, and the update didn't help it wiped out everything and among other things had to get a new iPhone. The iPhone I have now works, so should I risk this update? It's a 3GS.
