How to get the restrictions passcode off of my iPhone 4?

My dad set a password for my iphone a few years ago for the restrictions, and I have since gotten a new phone, but I don't really want to get rid of the phone and want to use it for personal use. I have an IPhone 4 with 7.1.2, and just want to unlock all of the restrictions. He used his apple ID, so I can't turn off Find My IPhone to restore a Really old backup without the restrictions.

Added (1). He doesn't want to give it to me, so he says, meaning he forgot and doesn't care.

Not without the password you won't.

I was going to suggest putting the iPhone in DFU mode and restoring it, but since it has your dad's iCloud account associated with that iPhone, then it would be useless.

Until your dad can remember his Apple ID email and password, there's nothing you can do about it.
