How to get your iphone to play on this stereo?
I've been driving around in my dads 2010 Silverado for the past week since I came back to my hometown, and the radio stations here aren't the greatest as far as static goes. This might be a brainless task, but I can't figure out how to get my iphone's music to play in this factory stereo. When I go to the menu on his stereo there are no options that I can find for ipod or bluetooth or anything like that, just adjustments for radio.
I've got the plug in for the cig lighter but not one of the ones that go to the headphone spaces. Does anybody know how I can make my music work in this truck?
Looks like there's no iPod USB or aux input in that radio,
to listen to your phone you need one of the Plugs i mention, this is something that don't come from factory in all vehicles, but you can buy the interface and install it

- Would this stereo car deck allow me to play music from my iPhone 5 in high quality? I don't want to use CDs anymore and my current car deck doesn't have USB functionality. I want to play music without using the transmitters that usually have bad quality. I have an audio cable and I was wondering if attaching a USB head to one end and having the audio on the other end then plugging that into the cigarette lighter with one of those adapters would play music through my stereo?
