How to import my contacts from my Facebook to my iphone 4S?

I don't have the Sync option on my facebook like everyone else suggesting. Is there another way to transfer them?

What version of iOS are you? That would help.

The new version on the Facebook application has become simply a mobile version of Facebook, there's no longer a sync contacts option directly through the application.

So for that reason, First, make sure that you are on IOS 6 firmware

It wouldn't hurt to have the Facebook application installed on your iPhone, it's very similar in style to the desktop Facebook website, very user friendly

Back to the topic:

Go to settings > Facebook (below twitter) > Sign In (full name/username/password)

Under the section [Allow these apps to use your account]

Make sure that contacts is set to ON (blue toggle)

Then select the button [Update all contacts]

You will then have your Facebook contacts available. Note: some will be phone numbers with emails, some contacts will only have email availae. It depends if they provide their number on Facebook.
