How to import photos from iphone?

I have an iPhone 4S and I want to import all of the photos from the cameral roll to my computer. I know how to do this, I just go to Computer > My Iphone and right click > import photos and videos.

BUT; when It searches for my photos, it only finds 1658 photos when I have 3200 on my camera roll. Why is that and how do i import everything?

Added (1). Ariana: No! Everything is in the camera roll!

Do you have it in separate albums? Maybe that's why, when your finished importing the first half move the other album to the top.

  • Windows 7 Laptop will not import iPhone 3GS photos, but imports videos? I tried to import photos and videos from my 3GS using the import photos button built in to Windows 7. For some reason the photos will not import when I try, but the videos will. I get the message "The following error occurred while importing IMG_0003.JPG: The system can't find the path specified. What do you want to do? Try again, Skip this file, Skip all files with errors." The phone was unlocked and it still did not work.
  • Why can't I import the photos from my IPhone 5 to my Macbook Pro? So I have a little over 1000 picture on my IPhone 5 and i want to get them to go onto my Macbook Pro laptop. I know this probably sounds stupid, but I just can't seem to figure it out! I've researched a lot of stuff and even went onto the apple website! I asked a few of my friends who have PC laptops and they said that a little pop-up came out in the corner of their screen asking to sync their photos. Well of course my doesn't have a pop-up.
  • My iPhone will sync, but I can't import photos? When I plug my iPhone 4s into my laptop, iTunes works fine, but the 'autoplay' pop-up option doesn't appear so I can import photos from my phone to my laptop. I've tried going into My Computer, but it's not listed. I've also tried unplugging it and restarting both my phone and laptop. I'm just wondering if there's a way to switch 'autoplay' back on as it does not appear any more, or if there are settings on my phone I need to fix.
  • I can't import photos from iphone to macbook pro? I've been trying to import photos from my iphone but i can't figure out how. The usual way I do it is just go to itunes (after plugging in my iphone to the macbook) then clicking sync and they would all be there, but not now. I also tryed clicking preview the file then import to iphone but when that happened there where NO photos there, i've also tryed with iphoto but can't figure out how and it is just really annoying me.
