How to improve the quality of Bluetooth audio?
I'm using Bose AE2w (The wireless ones). When I connect it to my iPhone 5 the quality is perfect, and I have absolutely no problem with the sound or the remote control features. However, when I connect it to my laptop which has (Qualcomm Atheros AR3012) driver, the sounds becomes choppy and the quality sometimes becomes low. This does NOT ALWAYS happen! But it happens often enough to be annoying. Both the headset and the Bluetooth driver use 4.0 version of Bluetooth. Will buying a Bluetooth USB dongle help? Or at least does this solution have a chance to work?
Thank you.
Added (1). I have also updated both the Bluetooth driver and the audio driver on my laptop. Also updated the headset itself. Did not help.
Difficult to answer,
You don't explain what you are watching or listening to when the sound quality drops… The quality of 'You Tube' videos isn't constant and some of the quality is really 'poor'… The same problem exists with 'audio files' different compression and bit rates affect the sound quality and the only way to make sure that you are going to have a more enjoyable listen… Is to make sure you only 'store' or 'download' good quality files… I personally only use iTunes for music downloads - nothing else cuts it for me… I've even paid for MP3 files from trusted websites and the quality wasn't that good… I worked with music for a while and demand a certain standard of quality… You can't improve the quality of 'bad files' and bluetooth just doesn't sound as good as a 'wired' headset… Though I personally use 'bluetooth' and don't find the quality to be that bad.
- Your suggestion for a pro quality video camera with great audio under $500? I work at a trade school we we have weekly guest lectures, presentations, and other events, and we're wanting to take some quality videos to put on our site and elsewhere. Typical iphones and other similar devices are just giving us poor quality, especially audio, so we're looking for suggestions for a quality videocamera under $500, with the most important attribute being good audio pickup.
- Why does my iPhone receive good quality videos as bad quality videos? So I recently met a famous guy in concert and when I got a picture wth him I was getting a video and my friend used her phone to video it. So she sent it to me and it was like terrible quality and the video was like little with a huge black border around it. But yet it looks perfectly fine on her phone? How do I fix it? Whenever I try to get video editing apps it always says error & only with that particular video. I have an iPhone 5c, and so does my friend.
- Just got Spotify Premium. Switched the music quality to extreme, and the quality isn't good? There must be something that I have to do because the quality sounds the same, even though I switched it to extreme. I made sure that I wasn't imagining it - I played my iTunes copy and it sounded so much better. This is the iPhone app, if that matters. What's the solution?
