How to install cydia on iPhone after it was jailbraked?

It should be installed already. Look around your homescreen. It might be there. If not, you might have used the wrong application. I recommend you use http://www.redsn0w.us/.

It's called jailbroken, not jailbraked.
You're not using the IPSW.

Go to Google and type in Felix Bruns. Open the first link and click the dropdown menu for iPhone software and then choose the iPhone you have, on the 6.0 firmware and download it.

When it's done open redsnow and go to Extras > Select IPSW > choose the one you just downloaded. Press ok and go back and now press jailbreak.

You're doing the jailbreak entirely wrong and that's why you're getting the missing plist keys error.

Cydia is what you get as a result of jailbreaking. You may done something wrong or used the wrong software.

  • Why won't Cydia download/install anything on my iPhone? I just jailbroke my iPhone 4 w/iOS 6.1 today. But when I went to install the winterboard or any other program it won't work. Messages like "Internal Server Error", or "Timed Out" or "Source Error" comes up in red letters. I've tried on 3G and my Wi-Fi connection and it still won't install anything. Any thoughts people? Are the boys at Cydia or the other sources still working on iOS 6.1 stuff?
