How to jailbreak an iphone 3g with home button broken?
The only reason i even want to jailbreak my phone is so i can get assistive touch… But i need a working home button to put it in dfu mode, is there another way?

- Unknown password, broken home button on iphone 3g? Ok my friend forgot his password for his iPhone and he asked me if i could restore it. I found out that the home button was broken so i can't put it into dfu mode! I have tried recboot but no luck. The phone says connect to iTunes because of failed password attempts.iTunes doesn't let me connect the phone and says i need to enter the phones password? My lock and home button are broken… Usually i've been able to manage with assistive touch and making it so it won't lock automatically, but recently i had to restore it. When i did, i went to my photos first to check to see if I still had any, but now I realize I don't have assistive touch yet and i'm stuck at my photos. How do i get out?
