How to jailbreak into an iPhone 5?
So I have an iPhone 5 that I'm trying to sell and I can't bypass the activate iPhone 5 screen. I can't ask the person for their password because I don't know who it belonged to first so that's not an option. Is there ANY way that I can bypass this? Is there something I can download? The iPhone is for Verizon.
What you have is an iCloud lock and is activated when it is reported lost/stolen. It is NOT bypassable, no person or jailbreak can unlock it apart from the original owner.
May I ask how you came into possession of this phone? It obviously isn't yours, and the nature of this question indicates that you've found it and now attempting to sell it which is theft. If I was you I would hand it into the police as iCloud locks have a GPS tracking feature to locate the device.

So my Mum just got given an iPhone 4 by her brother, she needs to unlock it to be able to use it with her network but she doesn't want it jailbroken and doesn't won't to have to pay for it… So if I use jailbreak to unlock the device could I then remove Cydia and it would still be unlocked?
