How to know if I cracked the LCD on my Iphone; or not, when I cracked my screen?
I dropped my iphone 4S and cracked the screen pretty bad. The screen still works perfect. I need to buy a replacement glass lens. Before I do that I need to know if the LCD on the screen is broken but I have no idea what that means. Any insight would be appreciated.
The LCD is actually the part that displays the screen, it contains the pixels. So if the screen still works, you didn't crack the LCD. If you had cracked the LCD, there would be parts of the screen that would be black or the wrong color, etc.
- What do I need to replace cracked front iphone 4 glass? Verizon. What is the LCD? The CDMA seems to be the Verizon phone. What is the LCD? Do i need my front glass to have that if I'm replacing it or will my iphone already have the old one for me to use? My boyfriend is helping me put the front glass on and he builds computers. Just not sure about the LCD
- My Iphone 2g has grey lines on the lcd screen? I own a very early iphone 2g 8gb, it works perfectly and it does the job as any other iphone 2g does, though what are these grey lines across the LCD? Should i purchase and fit a new LCD?
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
- Is it possible to only have the lcd in your iPhone broken, and not the screen. I have am I-phone 5C? Yesterday I dropped my iPhone 5C, it didn't crack, but the far right side doesn't react if I press a button on that side. It also glitches, if IIm on a page and scroll down it will go scroll right back up to the top. Lastly, the lock screen doesn't react at all for about 15 seconds.
