How to know the Iphone carrier info?

I bought an Iphone this week from craiglist. There's a sprint sim in it, which shows full signal strength. When i tried to make a call, the voice mail message shows account could not be validated. I tried one of the website with IMEI it says it is verizon locked. Now i'm helpless. How to know which carrier it is exactly locked sprint or verizon? How much will it cost for factory unlocking?

Oh boy. Do you have the number still of the people you bought it from? Maybe they can change the password and default settings back to factory settings. Not sure exactly how much it would cost to have verizon do it

  • Will my iPhone carrier let me know when I've used up my monthly 4G? I have an iPhone 5, and my carrier is AT&T. My sister has told me that the day I pay my phone bill, I can use 4G until the 30 days are up and I have to wait until my next plan to use 4G again. I'm really anxious because I can't tell how much data I'm using and when I should stop before I'm charged for going over the limit. I've gotten a text from AT&T saying I had used 65% of my data, so will they send me one for when I use all of it (100%)?
  • Which is more accurate regarding the details of an iphone, iphoneimei.info or imei.info? When I look up the IMEI of my broken iphone 5s on iphoneimei.info it says it's 16gb and when I look it up on imei.info it says it's 32gb… Which site is more accurate? The iphone is stuck in recovery mode and will not power on unless connected and it won't tell me the storage capacity in itunes.
  • Know of a good password & bank info keeper for IOS/OS X? I'm looking to safely store bank info/passwords and be able to sync this information across both IOS and OS X devices - therefore having the app available on both operating systems for free. If possible with Touch ID. I have iPhone with IOS 9.1 and Macbook Pro with OS X El Capitan. Appreciate the help.
  • Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
