How to know what carrier your iPhone is?
So my iphone 6 I bought from my dads friend a while ago and i don't know what carrier it is or if it's bad esn and it has warranty and I tried going to Apple company but they wouldn't take it they said software issues and stuff so i don't know if it's bad esn of what carrier it is can I give you guys my imei number and you guys can find out or something or is that a private thing?

- Will my iPhone carrier let me know when I've used up my monthly 4G? I have an iPhone 5, and my carrier is AT&T. My sister has told me that the day I pay my phone bill, I can use 4G until the 30 days are up and I have to wait until my next plan to use 4G again. I'm really anxious because I can't tell how much data I'm using and when I should stop before I'm charged for going over the limit. I've gotten a text from AT&T saying I had used 65% of my data, so will they send me one for when I use all of it (100%)?
- Will I be able to unlock my iPhone if I don't know the original carrier? Recently my old iPhone broke (water damage) in which my mother gave me her new but un used iPhone 5, I know it's locked to a different network. But I don't know which network, if I went to a shop to get it unlocked, would they be able to if I didn't know the original sim carrier?

I want to switch to straighttalk and spent $63 on the bring your own device package but the sims aren t valid. I looked into unlocking my iphone but i don't know what carrier the guy who left it had. I know its canadian because i searched the phone number. How should i go about unlocking it?
- If I buy an iphone used from another carrier ad buy a sim card from my carrier will that work? I have an iphone 4s with virgin mobile and I want an iphone 5 but all virgin mobile phones are so expensive! I looked on ebay for virgin mobile nano sim cards and they are only around 2 dollars. If I bought one of these sim cards and a used iphone 5 from another carrier would it work with my carrier?
