How to load nook app on a kindle fire hdx?
I have tried everything on line that I have read, like: the switch for non amazon apps and loading from getjar but nothing seems to work. Also I have an Iphone, a windows pc, and a kindle fire hdx is there a way to sync these (I Know this is a long shot I mainly want to load my nook account)
Kindles are not plain vanilla Android and some apps have to be modified to run on them. Because Amazon is so big they can swing this, like Walmart does for video and games. So in effect they probably make it so you can't do nook on kindle. You should have gotten a Nook or a generic Android tablet. I don't know what you mean by sync, if you mean access to files then go on the cloud and put them there. In the future it would be easier not to have so many disparate devices if you want them to work together. I mean Apple, Kindle and Nook are all brands that want to be separate from other brands.
So basically, the Kindle Fire line get's there apps from the Amazon app store. And strangely enough, the Nook app is not there. Go figure.
It is possible, and I did try it once on a lark. You'll have to Google something like "Installing Nook app on Kindle." You should be able to find out where you can get the Nook app then just download it on your Kindle and run it.
When you do this, you will have to go into the settings menu and say Yes to running 3rd Party apps first.

- My Netgear Wi-Fi won't work on my iphone or kindle fire? My Wi-Fi was working perfectly fine but then just stopped working. Now my iphine and kindle fire can't find our Wi-Fi. Even my laptop says no networks found. I'm still able to get online through our home computer which is ran by hughes net but thats it. On the netgear modem the lights for power, internet and number two are all on so i have no idea what's wrong.
