Well I got mugged and I called the police and they tried to track it but told me that they couldnt track it because I didn't have the find my iphone app… How do I locate it then!
GO back to the police and give them your IMEI number. If you still have the box then you could find the IMEI number on there.
Giving the police your IMEI number will help them out because once the person sets up an phone account they will have to give IMEI. Police can track to where he is from there.
