Unfortunately you can't. Exchange the iPhone for an Android phone if you're so worried about it. The Google Play Store doesn't require you to enter a credit card.
The guy is lying, You can… Simply make the account on iTunes and click no Credit Card…
I have an iPhone and an apple store account thing. It didn't require a credit card for me. You only need to put in credit card info if you are buying a paid app. If you're buying a free app then it just asks for your apple ID( normally email) and your apple password.

- How to purchase a free app on my IPhone without having to use a credit or debit card? I recently tried purchasing a free app and it told me I had to update my card info due to the fact that my last purchase over Drew my account. So it wants me to add another card. Well first of all I shouldn't need a card to purchase a free app, and secondly when I first got the phone I downloaded a lot of free apps and I had no card on file. I only put the card on a couple of months ago to buy a song. Anyways, is there anyway around this or anything I can do to the phone?
