How to make an old iPhone into a self-made OS?

I have been playing watch dogs 2 lately and I love the phone that Marcus uses. It's like a cross between apple and android, yet a private and extremely useful OS. I want to code my own OS that I can install onto my old iPhone in place of iOS. Please tell me if you know anything that I can do.

I don't know anything about this but if you figure it out please make a youtube tutorial so people like me can do it. I would recommend looking on youtube for a tutorial or wikihow thye have everything haha hope this helped

Well, from your question, I will guess that you have little to no knowledge in coding, so the best that person of your skill level could do is finding yourself an Android OS that isn't overstuffed by default creator apps, as each developer of the phones adds their own version of android. So you want to google the basic android and then find yourself an app that allows you to just add apps, widgets and other stuff, making it your own android. And then just replace the iOS with Android.
Because writing an OS from scratch would take more than a year even with an extensive knowledge on coding.

Planning to upgrade your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch? Instead of selling or recycling your old iOS devices, you can turn them into home security cameras with the Presence app by People Power.

While that may be possible through an adroit phone, as the are more open source, it would be much harder to do on an iPhone. Any Apple device is extremely hard to exploit so if you are looking for a solution, I would recommend installing it to an android device.

You can't do that. You would need to know all of the hardware addresses and other access methods/codes/commands of all of the hardware in your specific iPhone. Apple does not give out that information. It is a closed OS.

In addition you would need to be an expert programmer and much of the hardware level stuff would probably need to be written in assembler.

  • Was Learn 2 Fly ever made into an iPhone app? Learn 2 Fly is a game on Kongregate and once in a while a screen poped up saying stuff like "Get it on your mobile" but I never have time to check it out. I went to the App Store and it didn't show so I now assume the project was never finished or was not made for the iPhone.
  • I self checked into westjet for my flight, now what? I fly out from Winnipeg to Calgary then to kamloops in about 20 hours, I used the web to self check in for my flights and reserve my seats. I got the emails with the barcodes. But what do I do next? Once I arrive at the airport what do I do now? How do I check my bag? Do I need to have anything printed? The emails said not to print the barcodes out. So I'm assuming that security and so forth will simply scan the code off my iPhone. Right?
