How to make iPhone stop working?

Lol I know the title sounds crazy, but hear me out. My friend recently got a iPhone 4 for free because her phone stop working, she previously had a iPhone 3GS. And I have a iPhone 3GS also but I want the 4.Is there anyway I can make my phone stop working so I can get the 4 for free.

Get a life.

Jailbreak and install something incompatible. Plenty of idiots have done that. Restore it before you do all that, though. But what you are doing can be considered fraud in a court of law, so just be careful.

Drown it or try short circuiting it or something.either way, you should still be happy with the phone you have right now.i've had my phone for like 5 years now. As long as i can text my friends, i'm happy

I work for a cell pjone company so I will tell you that apple inspects there own equipment. So if you break it they will figure it out most often and then your just stuck with a broke phone.

Break it in a way your warranty covers. Like some warranties cover water damage (so you could drop it in water) some cover other things. So make sure your warranty will even cover whatever damage you do to it because if your warranty doesn't cover it you won't be able to get a new phone for free at all. (you will have to pay for new one).

A large rock! You could crush that thing in your hands! Careful of the glass. And the 4 is FREE WITH A CONTRACT you DON't NEED TO BREAK SAY I WANT TO UPGRADE TO IPHONE 4 and no problems

Not very difficult just pour some water down your iPhone through any jack or other opening or attach your iphone with your pc and complete erase every software memory but personally i prefer pouring large amount of water through the openings in it!
