How to make my iPhone 5 battery last a long time?
So tomorrow, my friend and I are going to Hershey park. I need my iPhone to last from 6:30 am to maybe 1:00 am. I will probably send a speedy text every hour or half an hour and maybe use it on the way there. Any suggestions?
Power it off when not in use.
Put the light from your screen as low as possible, turn your Wi-Fi off. Don't install to much apps on your iPhone it only makes it slower and the battery will die sooner. And turn all your apps of by pressing 2 times fast on the home button. And really don't play games, then I think you will make it.
Hope it helped!
Well, short term there are a few things you can do. You can make sure to end your background tasks periodically. If you aren't using it, then close it by double tapping the home button, holding your finger down on the app, then hitting the "x" button. Next, make sure it's not on vibrate. Silent or sound both take less energy than vibrate. Finally, you can turn your brightness down as much as possible. Long term you can wait until your phone is as low as possible before you charge it, and never unplug it before it's done charging fully.
- Why does the last percentage of my iphone battery takes so long to charge? I have noticed that the very first percentages (1-20) of the iphone battery charges very quickly, but when it comes to the last percentage (99-100) it takes like 15 minutes to charge!
- How to make sure my iphone 5 battery will last long term? I have heard from friends lately that if you don't take care of your iphone battery it will not hold a charge very long when the phone gets older. Is this true? If so what can I do now while my iphone is newer to prevent my battery from going bad?
