How to make my IPhone 5 completely silent?
Okay so tomorrow i have school and it's the first time that I go to school with my new iPhone. I want to make it completely silent so no vibrations( my class is usually quiet so it would sound like an earthquake). I don't want to turn it off so please don't comment that.
Just flip that little switch in the upper left, and everything becomes silent. I use that all the time.
Have you ever upgrade your iPhone to iOS 6? Yes? Have you heard of the 'Do Not Disturb' feature?
It is right inside the settings menu on iOS 6. If you do not want anyone to disturb you by your phone when you are in school, try it!
A feature that will disable all vibration and rings quickly is the "Do Not Disturb" feature in "Settings." You can turn on that feature and your phone will still get texts and notifications, but will not ring, vibrate, or even light up the screen.
Another way (this may be better for you) is to go to Settings < Sounds, and from there you can turn ON or OFF "Vibrate on Ring" and "Vibrate on Silent." Then you will need to keep the phone on silent mode by flipping the switch on the top left side of the phone (above the volume buttons).
Either one of these methods will work, enjoy your iPhone!
Go to settings, then sounds, then turn off the vibrate on ring and vibrate on silent. Then after that put the ringer volume all the way down. Then silent the phone. Then turn off the phone and leave it at home.
