Yes, what you do is
- select less than 30 seconds of song
- go to info --> options --> change start and end time
- create ACC version
- Find it in your comp
- delete song in ACC version
- double click the version on your desktop
I learned how to do it with this youtube video. She explains it step by step.
You can download an app like RingtoneMaker (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ringtone-maker-make-free-ringtones/id390929278?mt=8).
If you want to make a custom ringtone, e.g. A song that you created on your computer, you can make a song on a program like GarageBand, export it to iTunes, and sync your phone to your computer.
- Why are my Itunes Tone ringtones Greyed Out? My tones appear under the "Devies-Iphone" section but not under my library. Also under the "iphone-Tones" section they are greyed out and will not let me drag or drop them anywhere? They were bought from itunes! Off of my iphone! So No, they are not illegal!
- Trying unsuccessfully to make iPhone ringtones? I used an MP3 file and clicked "show in Windows Explorer" and changed the mp3 to m4r. ITunes won't play or add the ringtone. I'm using the newest version of iTunes. How can I get this to work?
- Making ringtones with itunes? I made a ring tone and dragged it into itunes but itunes will not allow me to move the ring tone to the tone section in itunes. And because so it will not be recognized on my iphone. Ideas? Its already in.m4r format.
- Loading ringtones onto Iphone without buying from Itunes? How do I do this? I have a lot of ringtones from old phones. The Iphone 3's were easy to load them but this phone doesn't seem to want to. I don't want to use them as music I want them as ringtones
