How to make myself get up when my alarm goes off?

It's summer break and I've already developed a horrible sleeping pattern. For instance, it's 7:30 AM as I'm writing this and I'm still awake. I woke up at 3 PM yesterday. Anyway, I'm trying to get back on track by getting up at a reasonable time from now on. When my iPhone alarm goes off I just slide the button and go back to sleep… I need to not do this! I've tried putting the alarm across the room so I'll have to get out of bed to get it but I still just go back to sleep. Any other tips?

I had this same issue however i struggled with it while I was in school/classes. My solution to the issue is. Currently you are not in class or a regular school term therefore the urgency is minimized.

In order to fix this sleep disorder what you will need to do is instead of going to bed at 4-6am you must remain awake. Remain awake until the sunset of the following day. This means that you will have gone approximately 24-36hrs without sleep. When the following day rolls around you must go to sleep around 11pm-1am. Not too early otherwise you will wake up way too early the following day and the adjustment will not work.

Anyways stay awake the current night throughout, do this instead of going to sleep. Remain awake throughout the following day. Go to bed at a normal time the following night and that instance should fix your sleep issues. The next morning you should awake around roughly 8-9am and feel fully functional! Give it a shot. Basically you must stay awake throughout a single night and go to bed early the next and by doing that you are able to catch up on the missed sleep.

You need to buy one of those annoying alarms that ring. Set it at a good distance away from your bed so you'll have to physically get up to turn it off. The iPhone's alarm sounds are too relaxing. I slept in during midterms and didn't realize that I had even shut off my iPhone's alarm. Do not attempt to snooze afterwards because this makes you feel even more sleepier once you do actually get up.
You need to stay awake until the evening. Try be outside for most of the day. Seeing the bright sun light will help get your circadian rhythm back on track. Do not take naps during the day.

Do you have a friend who will phone you and talk and harass you until you are up?

You should buy a very loud alarm

  • Will it make my iPhone dead if anything goes wrong in jailbreaking? My friends r saying tat if you make any mistakes in jailbreaking your iPhone, then your iPhone ll be dead… Will it?
  • The alarm goes off at times I haven't set on my iPhone5 (last year's). WTF? I work shifts and I set it every week on a different shift pattern. I previously thought I set it to go off at the wrong time but it has definitely gone off at a time I didn't set. The time it went off, that alarm was in the off position with no days assigned to it at the time. It wasn't the shift I had last week either (it didn't get it mixed up/carry it over from last week). What can I do?
  • My iPhone 4 always goes off Wi-Fi? When I go on the Wi-Fi in my home on my iPhone 4 it always goes back to 3G after 20 mins or so. Why is this? The connection is just fine…
  • Why does my iPhone 6s make a high pitched, almost smoke alarm sound when I listen to music? The first time happened when I walked onto the bus. I didn't have my headphones in and my phone dtsrted making a smoke alarm-type sound. The second time also happened on the but when I was listening to music without headphones and everybody told me to turn it off and it went away when I paused my music. Keep in mind there were 2 different songs. The last one that happened was just now when I had headphones in. I fear my phOne may be tapped.
