How to make myself go to bed earlier?
I normally put my light out at about midnight. It's not that I can't get to sleep early; it's just that I don't how to make myself put my light out any earlier.
I often like to get up early on a college morning so that I get time to go and relax on the sofa and watch part of a DVD and eat some fruit, but I sometimes do not get a lot of time due to the fact that I find it hard to get up any earlier than about 7:25-7:30. I feel that this is because I only get upstairs at about 10:00 on a lot of nights. I don't go out partying or dating or anything like that; I just stay downstairs for too long. I drink a cup of warm milk and have some dark chocolate and a banana for super as, apparently, these three things can help you get to sleep. I then watch part of a DVD upstairs as, apparently, watching a bit of T. V can help you get to sleep as long as the movie/T.V programme is not too action-packed, disturbing or otherwise mind-boggling and unsettling can help you to relax. This is now part of my routine and I would not edit that out. I'm supposed to read for a bit before putting my light out, but I now find it too tempting to just mess with my iPhone for a bit instead. I know that this is wrong so, if I knew how to set my alarm on my bedside clock instead, I might be able to just leave the phone downstairs.
I'm a female 17 year old, and I'm a vegetarian (I do not eat meat or fish). Due to my moral principles, I would not have to change my diet.
Does anyone know of any other possible ways that I could force myself to get to bed earlier?
Just start getting up early. I used to be coming through the door to goto bed at 4 or 5 am. Now that's when I get up. Yes. It is true that I'm in bed by 9 or 10 pm. Do that for a few days and you'll start to adjust. It's just my opinion but I think the wee early morning is the very best time of the day.
Remind yourself and ask your mother to wake you up
Wake up early
work hard
don't go near to tv when you wana go to bed
off the light of your room
and that's it
if not helpful
then start reading your (school) book.
now go to sleep
Keep yourself active, try to concentrate on your work, make yourself busy, eat & play at proper time, schedule it, what ever you gonna do… Try go to bed by 10pm, at begin you won't get proper sleep, but if you continue daily am sure, you can go bed earlier. Try this, these are the simple steps to follow.
- Is their anyway to change the edge to edge screen configuration on the iPhone XS? I hate the edge to edge miss the earlier models? The iPhone XS is a better phone but I much prefer the iPhone 8 and earlier model design. Wish their was a way to make the screen on it smaller or less long. Like how the other ones have he home button with the black bar on the bottom and top not full screen.
- Ios 7 not showing up in my updates but it was earlier? It says phone software up to date but earlier it said io7 update available, please help I'm dying to get it I have a iPhone 4
- How to make myself get up when my alarms go off? I'm a heavy sleeper and I either sleep through my alarms or turn it off without realizing it. The alarm is on my Iphone. How do I make myself get up in the morning so I won't be late for school again?
- How do I encourage myself and make myself thankful for what I have? I admit I take much for granted, I complain because one thing goes wrong or be sad because I don't have the newest iPhone. To me it feels bad being the middle/lower class student in the rich kid high school. However I try very hard to tell myself I should be more grateful and some people don't have anything, I have a warm bed and roof over my head. But yet I always seem to fall back into a state of wanting. How can I change, so I can increase my happiness?
