How to make your iPhone 4 vibrate?

I have a iPhone 4 about 2 years old, it did vibrate about 6 months ago but it's stopped now. I've been on the settings and vibrate is on. Also my phone doesn't make a sound when it rings or I get a notifications. The only thing it really does is, play music and alarms. So can I have some ways to make my iPhone 4 vibrate and make sounds? I've tried going to settings. I don't want to go to apple and pay loads of money. But if there's no way can you tell me how much money it costs?

4's aren't the greatest brand right now. The only two recommendations I have for you is to restart it a couple of times, or you have no other choice but to go to apple, and pay for a fix or new phone.

  • Would it be possible to make an app that makes sure your posture is straight when using your iPhone? For example; it could use a camera to make sure your face / neck are upright or it automatically locks
  • Why does my iphone randomly vibrate? I got the iphone 4s less than 4 weeks ago in america on Holiday, a few days later ios 5.1.1 update came out so I downloaded it. I've been home almost 2 weeks now and for the last few days it has been vibrating when charging, its really annoying, it seems to happen most when i'm using an app which is not so good for me as i'm trying to get my high score on temple run (currently 2 million).so any advice would be helpfull, anyone else had this issue?
  • My iphone won't vibrate even though vibrate is turned on? I have an iPhone 3gs and it worked fine until I updated it (ios 6). My phone, when on silent mode, won't vibrate when I get a message. In settings, everything is turned on, the vibrate part is selected. When the button (above the volume) is not on silent and then is flicked down to silent (vibrate) mode, it vibrates. However, it does not vibrate when I receive a message? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
  • My iPhone 4 doesn't vibrate when receiving texts? So my iPhone 4 doesn't vibrate when I receive texts. It vibrates for all my other notifications (Facebook, etc.) and when I get calls. So the switch is on. I also did the trick where I have a set tone for texts. I'm running iOS 6. But it did the same thing when I had iOS 5 so that can't be it.
