How to manage with 1, 000 texts a month?

I'm a 13 year old girl. I used to have unlimited texting but recently my parents changed our plan so I only have 1000 texts a month because they wanted to save money. I don't text as much as an average teenager. I text about 3-4 people a day. I'm going to start using imessage for my friends who have an iPhone(I have the iPhone 5C). But some of my friends don't have imessage so those are the people I'm going to have to use the texting for. What are some other things I could do so I don't go over 1000 messages? Please don't tell me to get whatsapp or whatever.

BQ: We have Verizon, so if I text someone who has Verizon, is it free? My mom, dad, and I are on the Verizon Familyshare plan if that helps.

Yes Verizon to Verizon is free. You may be able to add like a " favorite 5" numbers of sny carrier to you plan and get free to those specific numbers. Ask you parents if your plan has this option.

Email is another option. But what's wrong with What's App? It works great. There's also Hangouts from Google. It uses your Gmail address to I'm people who also have Gmail (which is every single Android user).

  • Texts on iPhone from number that appears to look like +1 (000) 000-0000? What does this mean? Are they fake messages, or what? Please help, very important, top answer given. No, this is a number that apparently my husband had to meet with last night over a deal and he sent me a screen shot image… But cut most the number out but you can tell its from a weird number…
  • Is there a way I can see how many texts I sent this month? My friend has an AT&T iPhone 4 and I have a Verizon iPhone 4S. She texted something and AT&T sent her back a text telling her how many texts she had that month. I was wondering if Verizon had something like that where I can text them and see how many texts I have this month.
  • IPhone - Manually manage music, new computer? So, I just got a new computer, installed the latest version of iTunes, plug in my iPhone and want to manually add a couple of songs. In order to do that, I have to select the "manually manage music and videos" option in iTunes, otherwise, I can't drag and drop songs into my iPhone. However, in order to do that, iTunes seems to REQUIRE me to wipe all current songs on my iPhone before I can enable the option to manually manage music. Is there any way around this?
  • IPhone 5S for £38/$63 a month, or iPhone 5C for £33/$55 a month? I've just got an iPhone 5C, 24 months £33 a month, 500mb of data, £10 up front payment. But i've just realised that I might be able to just afford an extra £5 a month for the iPhone 5S, which would be 1gb data and £40 up front cost. So i'm tempted to swap for that, what do you think?
