How to move my music on my iPhone to a Flash Drive?
My old computer's hard drive crashed and I had to get a new computer. I have all my music on my iPhone, which is great, but I don't know how to move it all to my new iTunes. I searched on Apple's website, but apparently I can only move and save my purchased music. I have a lot of songs that I have gotten off CDs or downloaded from somewhere other than iTunes, so it would be pretty annoying if I couldn't save it all.
Is there a way I can move all the music from my iPhone to a flash drive and then save it to iTunes?
I don't understand why so many iPhone owenrs - who already pay extra to get the internet on their phone - can't be bothered to do something as simpl, e as find the answers given to the last 100 people who already asked this question.
" I have all my music on my iPhone, which is great, but I don't know how to move it all to my new iTunes"
Technically you don't - Apple designed the transfer process to be only one way in order to prevent people from using their iPods and other devices to swap music between computers and ipods. Apple sells both iPods and the music that goes on them - and their bottom line with iTunes would be drastically cut if people could get music that easily.

You know what's maddening? Every day brings three or four people here describing this very situation - my computer broke down, and lost all of my music. How do I get the music from my iPod, iPad or iPhone to the iTunes on my new computer when it wasn't bought on iTunes. I've been coming to this site for four years and this question still comes up.
Here's what you could have done - you could have saved your music to CD or even blank DVD. A single CD-R will hold 80 minutes of music when burned as an Audio CD. When used as a data disc, it can hold 700MB - which can translate to 200 3.5 minute songs encoded at a moderate bit rate. For a blank DVD, capacity is over 6x that.
Use SharePod 3.9.9 (Windows)
