How to not send iMessages to a specific contact?
My mom recently switched her iPhone for a galaxys4. I have an iPhone and the first few times I tried to text her they weren't going through because they were sent as iMessages. When I realized this I tapped the bubble so it would be sent as a text. This doesn't work all the time though, and all my messages are automatically sent as iMessages to her first. How can I fix this?
Turn off imessage… Reboot phone… Turn on imessage… Work now?
if not, factory restoral on itunes… Work now?

Very simple actually. Imessages rely on Wi-Fi. Simply turn off your Wi-Fi and it should send as a normal text message. Or if you want to disable imessage all together. Then go into setting, look for messages(it shows with the Text Message Icon) and look for imessage options. If you can't find it there, try general settings.
- Why won't my iPhone send iMessages? I have an iPhone 4S and my friend has the 5. She kept the same sim, so when she got her 5, the old messages from her blackberry weren't deleted. But now, our messages aren't sent through iMessage and its really annoying. Any ideas how this could be put right? All my other friends that I message are sent on iMessage, just not her.

- Why is my Iphone not sending as Imessages and receiving iMessages from one person? I'm texting my wife and we both have iPhone's and she is getting the messages as an iMessage but the ones I'm sending her on my end show up at green. Sometime it will go as blue, get the little red exclamation point then send as regular SMS. I'm texting someone else too and she has an iPhone, and she is getting mine as regular iMessages and mine are sending as regular iMessages. Why aren't they sending to me wife as iMessages?
- Why does my iPhone send iMessages to myself? Ever since i updated my iPhone 4 to the new software I have been recieving my own texts when I attempt to text my dad. I also receive some of his texts from other people. It seems like apple linked our accounts somehow but I don't know how to separate them. We use the same apple ID but it's been that way for over a year now with no problems until now. Any help Is appreciated.
