How to not wake up your roommate with alarm?

I just thought of this now. I have classes at 7:40am this upcoming year, much earlier than my roommates. Any college kids have any tricks to not waking up your roommates but still using an alarm? I tried using headphones but it comes out the iphone speaker also!

Just let it go off. I do the same thing with my room mate. He likes it because it makes him wake up early and do his course work.

That's just part of being roommates. But be considerate--when your alarm goes off, get up and get moving. Don't put it on 5-minute snooze two or three times while you think about getting up. That can be Really annoying.

  • Why do I always wake up one minute before my alarm? It's crazy. Every time I set my alarm I wake up literally just one minute before it goes off. I sit there in bed and wait for it every time. I don't want to hear some crap about my alarm making a "click" before it goes off. Cause I set my alarm on my iphone. Why does this happen? Am I a wizard? Lol.
  • What should I say to my roommate from last semester (who stole my stuff)? He stole my stuffed Kermit the Frog. I know it was him. I know that he was capable of it since he also stole someone's iPhone. Yet when I see him, he's still just like, "Hey man, how are you doing?" and pretending to be my friend. What should I say to him?
  • How would you deal with a roommate that steals? Exactly one week ago, my roommate stole my phone(iphone 5). I know it was him for sure so i'm not gonna go into detail about that. I didn't know the roommate before i moved into my apartment(it was a random pairing). I still have to live with him for another 6 months before our lease runs out. I can't prove he did it so I can't go to the police and I already tried locating it. What should I do in terms of dealing with my roommate?
  • Do airpods being connected to your phone stop your phone's alarm from going off? My alarm didn't go off this morning but thankfully my roomie woke me up! I couldnt figure out why because my sound was on and full volume. I also was not on do not disturb which doesn't really matter bc your alarm works with do not disturb anyway! I tried to turn off bluetooth to see if my airpods were getting the sound and not my phone and i did and then my next alarm went off. Was this just a coincidence or was it really my airpods?
