How to play Minecraft (Pocket Edition)?

I recently downloaded Minecraft on my iPhone because my boyfriend plays it all the time! I don't know how to play. Can anyone explain it to me?

It's a sandbox game where you can do whatever you want. You can dig and collect dirt, sand, wood, rocks, and minerals. You can use that to build tools and other items that will help you to explore or help you to build whatever structure you want.

There's a playable story line built in as well where in the end you get to battle a dragon. I don't think that's available for pocket edition as pocket edition seems to lack a lot of features. If you are disappointed with the pocket edition you should try it on the computer instead because it's a lot more fun with the full features.
