How to play music on iPhone 4 iHome with an iPhone 5c and lifeproof case?
I recently upgraded from an iPhone 4 to an iPhone 5c but would still like to use my old iHome. How can I do this with my new iPhone 5c? Also, my new iPhone 5c has a lifeproof case, so it must fit with the case on.
I don't know that exact dock, but I use my iphone 5 in a Sony iphone 4 dock that's linked to my surround system.
I got the proper Apple 30 pin to lighting adapter & leave that on the dock connector.
I already has a 'back support' on the dock because I have my phones in Otter Box cases.
Looking at the bits, the back support is a 'Sendstation dock extender' - it came with a stubby 30 pin extension & it allows a phone in a case to be used on a dock.
The Apple 30 pin to lightning adapter fits perfectly in place of the 30 pin extender and the phone sits against the backrest so the connector is not being twisted.

(You can get the real Apple ones rather cheaper online - mine was £12 on ebay. Do not bother with a 'fake' one, the majority are charge-only and don't have the audio and other facilities.)
- What case is better Lifeproof or Ballastic for the Iphone 5 and why? I'm currently using the Ballastic case(The heavy duty) for the Iphone 5, I'm just wanting to see in someone else opinion which one is better and why?
- Pros and cons about the iphone 4s lifeproof case? I was wondering if anyone could tell me the pros and cons about a lifeproof case before i buy one so i don't have to waste money on something i might not like… Please and thank you:-)
- Listening to music with earplugs underwater, iPhone 5 lifeproof case? I have a lifeproof case and I wanna listen to music with standard iPhone 5 earplugs underwater. This means the headphones piece will be open with earplugs in. Will it keep my phone safe?
- Lifeproof case and iPhone 5 So I have an iPhone 5 and a lifeproof case. I tested the case when I got it and it worked fine. I use it periodically in water but not completely submerged. I have to take the case off every night to charge it because my charge cord is too large to fit inside the case. I wanted to use it underwater this summer but I did not want to use it if water would get inside and ruin my phone. Since I take the case off so frequently, will that affect the seal of the case?
