How to play pokemon emerald on pc and move to iphone?

I have a problem with the GBA or GPsphone. I use the VBA emulator for the PC to play pokemon emerald. When i save the file, I put the file into my iphone rom GBA folder. But once I use the GBA emulator on the iphone, its saving that the save file has been corrupted, or I have to start a new game. Is there something I'm doing worng. Can someone help please?
