How to post a gif to tumblr from an iPhone?
Well I don't have a computer right at this moment because I'm visiting my dad and I just have my iPhone for now. So I find gifs all the time that I LOVE on other websites and I want to post them again on tumblr. Well whenever I do post them, they just show up as pictures which really confuses me because I have no idea how people post them. So yeah. Oh and one more question, and if someone can answer this, ill give them 10 pts. So when I hold down on a gif on TUMBLR to save it, it goes to my gallery and when I send it to someone, it doesn't do anything. It's just a picture. So yeah. I'm trying to work tumblr off my phone and obviously it's not working out. Ugh someone help please!
Do you have the Tumblr app on you iPhone first of all? If you do TOUCH & HOLD the picture and then you'll see a few option which one option of Tumblr. You should be able to add pictures.
It works for me sometimes BUT NOT all the time.
or get an app called Cinemagram Whatever Gifs you find you can just SHARE the to your Tumblr.

- If I post a video on vine with my sound off will it post with no sound? I just recorded a video for vine. After I made it I noticed my switch was on silent. (I have an iPhone 4S) so I turned it on and the video still had no sound. I checked all my settings and everything was on. All the other videos on vine had sound. So I posted it hoping maybe when it posted the sound would come on. Still no sound after it posted. Is this because I had the switch off when I was recording?
- How to upload a GIF to tumblr from iPhone? I created a GIF on the app "5SecondsApp" and it plays fine on there. After saving it to my camera role I uploaded it to tumblr but instead of playing as a GIF it stayed as a JPEG and didn't play So I sent it to myself on iMessage because usually that is when a GIF plays and saved the one I sent to myself, uploaded that, then it still didn't play? Can someone please help me sort this out
